BIG BANG SIMULATION
Editor's Note: For his final project for the Life's Big Questions symposium course, Will M. ('15) created a computer simulation of the Big Bang, which offers a possibly answer to the "big question" of how the universe was created.
Author's Note: The simulation assumes that the universe formed after random quantum events caused the spontaneous creation of visible and dark matter. After this matter forms, the universe expands due to the dark energy and the interaction of forces like gravity between the various particles. You can press space to see dark matter particles as well as a graph of the dark energy in the expanding universe as it grows.
