Geometric Math Art

Editor's Note: Ruhi S. ('18) experimented with color and drawing kites in her Geogebra creation for her geometry class.

Creator's Note: For this project, I had to make any Geogebra image to my liking. Geogebra is a dynamic mathematics software where students can learn geometry and create beautiful geometric pieces of art. When I made Chandelier, our class was just getting used to using Geogebra, learning how to drop points, draw lines, turn grids on and off, etc. I like drawing kites, so this piece is made primarily of translated kites. I experimented with color combinations until I liked what I saw. I think the color combinations and the simplicity of this piece are it's greatest strengths.
