HACKINTOSH, A COMPUTER BUILT FROM SCRATCH
Editor’s note: In this Computer Science exploration, the Packer Bytes club, Led by Andrew E. (‘18), Dino M. (‘17), Rob V. (‘17) and Nate A. (‘17), built a computer from scratch.
This is a picture (ref. Fig. 1) of the backside of a Hackintosh that the Packer Bytes clube built. A Hackintosh is a computer built from scratch, loaded with the Mac operating system - in our case, Sierra 10.12. It is called a Hackintosh because Apple never intended for users to install their operating system on another device that is not made by them.
